My 247, July 5, 5 p.m. Consulate general at Hankow reports large mass meeting Chinese at Ichang resulting in resolutions for international settlement along lines of Chefoo including international volunteer corps and international municipal council. Resolutions signed by President of Chinese Chamber of Commerce, et cetera. It emphasizes plan will not be detrimental to sovereignty of China.
