“June 21, 5 p.m. Hostilities have commenced between Kwangtung and Kwangsi. It is reported that Wuchow is being attacked Kwangtung troops. Ch’en Ch’iung-ming, commander-in-chief of the Kwangtung forces, is at the front”.
