Reasoner, American, who recently went to La Gloria to bring mother Habana, reports protection given by Government to that section showed calm apprehension. Trains run through Minas every day. I have not only asked for protection for alarmed American colonies but where it was possible physically to get protection have not rested till it was provided. Most of the robbery was before communication could be established. Isolated houses will be in danger while robber bands exist.
