Please inform Foreign Office that Department has inquired of Tokyo and Peking whether there was foundation for the English press reports stating that Japanese Government proposes to extend war to regions east of Hwang-ho River, to expel all Germans not only from Dalny but from Mukden, Changchun and even Tientsin, and has received replies stating that reports are entirely unfounded and untrue.
