Your August 7, 8 p.m., and my August 20, 425.1 Foreign Office informs me that British Government have no hesitation in giving you every assurance that they will respect the neutrality of Liberia. They rely on the Government of the Republic to take all proper steps to protect their neutrality in any circumstances which may arise.
