Government candidate Obregón was elected president of Congress to-day by 30 majority out of 178.

Representatives of many American mining companies have called at Embassy to-day to advise me that the prohibition of the importation of dynamite will soon cause the shutting down of all mines and the discharge of some 20,000 employees, who will immediately join the forces of disorder.
