Sir: Referring to my despatch No. 185 of October 10, on the subject of the Panamá-David railway, I have the honor to report that the status of that matter remains the same as before the recent special session of the National Assembly. Both bills passed by this Assembly referring to the financing and construction of that railway have been vetoed by the President.
