File No. 817.00/1597, 1599.
The American Minister to the Secretary of State.
The governor is instructed to exercise very great vigilance in Blue-fields and the Bluff. The Government learns that the filibuster Eureka went to Amapala where, on examination, nothing suspicious was found; the Government believes arms were landed on some island in the Gulf, and greatly desires that the Government of Salvador make a search and secure them before removed by the revolutionists.
