Excellency: I have the honor to apply to the Department under your excellency’s most worthy charge with a request that it be pleased to use its good offices to the effect that the proper authorities of San Pedro, Cal., will arrange to thwart the maneuvers of the Magonist junta at Los Angeles toward sending expeditions from that place to Lower California.
