The Secretary of State to the Mexican Chargé d’Affaires.
In compliance with the request contained in the memorandum from the Mexican embassy dated the 6th interest, that pertinent measures be taken by the Government of the United States relative to the report that there are arms and ammunition at the frontier department of the Douglas station, in Arizona, ready to be exported without express consignment, the Department of State has transmitted copies of the translation of the Mexican embassy’s memorandum to the Attorney General and to the Secretary of War.
