Excellency: Referring to the Department’s note No. 353, of the 1st instant, relative to the alleged violation of the neutrality laws of the United States by Abraham Gonzáles and Perfecto Lomelí, who are said to be in the town of Presidio, Tex., I have the honor to inform your excellency that, in a letter dated December 5, the Attorney General states that the matter has been brought to the attention of the United States attorney for the western district of Texas and of an agent of the bureau of investigation of the Department of Justice who is located in that district.
