The Acting Secretary of State presents his compliments to the minister of Honduras, and has the honor to inform him that the Department of State has communicated to the proper authorities of the United States the information contained in the minister’s aide memoire of the 8th instant relative to an expedition against Honduras which Gens. Manuel Bonilla and Lee Christmas are said to be preparing to send from New Orleans on board the steamer Hornet.
