My Dear Mr. Ambassador: I have your letter of the 1st instant giving the text of a telegram received by you from the British foreign office proposing certain arrangements for the exchange of visits and salutes by the commanders of the foreign war vessels at Portsmouth upon the occasion of the coronation of His Majesty, King George V, and in reply beg to say that I am informed by the Secretary of the Navy that the arrangements suggested are entirely satisfactory to his Department.
