Excellency: Referring to your No. 28 of the 17th ultimo, extending an invitation from your Government to the Government of the United States to have a man-of-war present at the naval review to be held at Spithead on Saturday the 24th of June on the occasion of [Page 253] the coronation of His Britannic Majesty, George V, I take pleasure in informing you of the receipt of a letter from the Secretary of the Navy, dated March 9, 1911,1 in which he states that the U. S. S. Delaware has been designated to represent this Government on that occasion.
