Excellency: Referring to your No. 28 of the 17th ultimo, extending an invitation from your Government to the Government of the United States to have a man-of-war present at the naval review to be held at Spithead on Saturday the 24th of June on the occasion of the coronation of His Britannic Majesty, George V, I take pleasure in informing you of the receipt of a letter from the Secretary of the Navy, dated March 9, 1911,¹ in which he states that the U. S. S. Delaware has been designated to represent this Government on that occasion.
