Sir: I have the honor to inform you that on the 6th instant Mr. Eladio Victoria took the oath of office as Provisional President of the Republic. The ceremonies were extremely simple and took place in the Senate Chamber before both Houses of the National Assembly. The diplomatic and consular corps were present by invitation.
