Excellency: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note of the 6th instant, in which you request the extradition of Jan Janoy Pouren, alias W. Kohks, alias Martin Martinson, charged in Russia with the crimes of murder, robbery and attempted murder.

I have the honor to say in reply that when the forms of law shall have been complied with the department will issue a warrant for the surrender of the accused.
