The Belgian minister called to-day and showed me a telegram he had received from the minister for foreign affairs directing him to express the sincere thanks of the King and the Belgian Government for the me°sage of condolence and sympathy which was communicated, in the name of the President and the Government of the United States, by the chargé d’affaires at Brussels, on the occasion of the death of the Queen.
