364. Editorial Note

On February 6, 1968, the EC Commission approved an increase in the supplementary levy on turkey legs and thighs from third countries from $0.3125 to $0.375 per kilogram, effective February 10. On September 4, the Commission further revised its supplementary levies on poultry imports, eliminating those on whole chickens and chicken halves and [Page 857] quarters. Levies on whole turkeys were reduced from $0.0625 per kilogram to $0.04, and on boned poultry from $0.125 to $0.075. Levies on other poultry products, including turkey legs and thighs, remained unchanged. On October 18, the Commission left unchanged export subsidies for poultry and eggs.
