210. Editorial Note
On June 28 Ambassador Young sent an airgram to the Department of State evaluating the current state of U.S.-Dutch relations. He suggested that with the establishment of the J.E. deQuay Cabinet, which had been formed on May 19, the time had come “when we should take [a] fresh, overall look at our relations with the Dutch.” (Airgram G–193 from The Hague, June 28; Department of State, Central Files, 611.56/6–2859) See Supplement.
