112. Editorial Note

On May 7, representatives of the Governments of France and the United States signed an agreement at Washington entitled “French-United States Cooperation in the Uses of Atomic Energy.” It provided for the sale to the Government of France of a specified quantity of enriched uranium for use in the development and operation of a land-based prototype submarine nuclear propulsion plant during a 10-year period.
