CR–14. Editorial Note
The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development authorized the following loans to Costa Rica during the years 1958–1960: (1) $3.5 million to the Central Bank of Costa Rica on February 11, 1959, to relend for agricultural and light industrial development. (2) $2 million to the Central Bank of Costa Rica on May 4, 1960, to finance loans to industrial firms for importing capital goods. The Export-Import Bank authorized a credit of $3 million to Costa Rica on April 15, 1960 for Inter-American Highway construction, but no funds were disbursed in 1960.
