CO–27. Editorial Note

President Alberto Lleras Camargo of Colombia made an official visit to the United States in April 1940. He spent the period April 5–8 in Washington participating in official discussions with President Eisenhower and other United States officials. Thereafter, he traveled through parts of the United States, ending the official phase of his visit on April 14. After spending three days in Miami Beach, Florida, he departed for Colombia on April 17.
