Foreign Office advises that as result of Embassy’s approach yesterday another telegram was sent last night to Di Nola instructing him try his best find workable compromise on Benelux memorandum, meeting at least in part desires of US delegation, while always bearing in mind Italian adherence to principles of Pella Plan.
