Editorial Note

The Foreign Ministers of the United States, France, and the United Kingdom met in London from May 11 to May 13, 1950, for far-ranging discussions on problems of mutual concern. These conversations were preceded by preliminary talks commencing on May 1. In addition to the tripartite sessions, United States officials participated in bilateral meetings with British and French representatives.
