Editorial Note
Turkey and the United States agreed on January 31, 1950, to the establishment of a Turkish Government special account in the Turkish Central Bank for the deposit of Turkish liras in an amount commensurate with the cost of United States grant economic assistance to Turkey, from which funds would be released for expenditure in Turkey.
