A conference of American Chiefs of Mission in Near Eastern countries was held at Istanbul from November 26 to 29. The agreed conclusions (see page 168) embodied a ninth item entitled “Current Israeli-Jordan Peace Negotiations and Annexation of Arab Palestine to Jordan.”
