Editorial Note

The Iranian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, on September 11, sent two notes, Nos. 3526 and 3528, to the American Embassy, in which the Ministry expressed itself as in accord with the renewal of the American Military Mission with the Iranian Gendarmerie for two years from October 3, 1948, on a purely advisory basis.

The American Embassy, in notes 347 and 348 of September 13, expressed the agreement of the United States Government with the two Iranian communications.
