I. Report by the Deputies
The Council heard the Deputies’ Report tabled by the acting Chairman and instructed the Deputies to complete the examination of the questions still outstanding in the draft treaty with Finland.
II. Danube
The Council considered the U.K. Delegation’s proposal (C.F.M.(46) 148).96
The French Delegation proposed an amendment to the first paragraph (C.F.M.(46) 172).97 The Council deferred discussion of the question.
III. Peace Treaty With Italy
1. Reparation
Views were exchanged on this question.
2. Italian Navy
The Council decided to leave to Italy cruisers “Duca Degli Abruzzi, Garibaldi, Montecuccoli and Cadorna” and destroyers “Da Recco, Grecale and 2 type Artigliere”.
The Council instructed the Naval Experts Committee to continue its study of the question of the allocation of surplus units, dealing first with allocation to Greece and Yugoslavia and then to the four Powers, in accordance with the Ministers’ decision of April 27th.
