Sir: Referring to my despatch No. 16586 of June 24, 1944, I have the honor to remind the Department that the Minister of War³⁰ objected to the inclusion in the Military Aviation Agreement³¹ recently signed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs³² and me, of an article which would have given jurisdiction to our military authorities over offences committed by members of our armed forces in Brazil.
