Sir: Referring to my despatch No. 16586 of June 24, 1944, I have the honor to remind the Department that the Minister of War30 objected to the inclusion in the Military Aviation Agreement31 recently signed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs32 and me, of an article which would have given jurisdiction to our military authorities over offences committed by members of our armed forces in Brazil.
