194. I desire to thank the Department for the information conveyed in its No. 151 of December 27, 1 p.m.75 just received. Mr. Churchill has left Athens, and I greatly regret that my long conversation with him yesterday (see my 190, of December 27, 7 p.m. for the President) had to be carried on without my knowledge of this important background.
