2646. For Sayre21 from Lehman. Jackson advised Gore-Booth that proposed $2,500,000 fund was assumed by us to be used for the movement of refugees from Spain to other countries. This proposal was originally put forth by Long22 and Gore-Booth was advised to consult Brandt, since question of movement of refugees being handled by that office instead of O.F.R.R.O.23 We believe that consideration of the establishment of any such fund should be discussed by Bermuda Conference.
