811. F. W. Ohliger, representative of Casoc at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, is proceeding Washington where he proposes to present to War Department certain considerations relating to measures essential to the defense of the oil properties in that country as well as eventual denial operations. From my conversations with the Americans connected with Casoc and Bahrein Petroleum Company, I am impressed with importance of these problems and I hope Department will facilitate Ohliger’s representations to War Department.
