244. My telegram No. 117, May 22, noon. Under an order issued August 16 Palestine Government has prescribed immigration quota of 850 certificates in all categories for the quarter ending September 13th, and such additional certificates as may be needed for wives and children under the age of 18 years of principal immigriants covered by the order and of principal immigrants who arrived before the beginning of the present quarter.
The present quota provides for the admission of 100 non-Jewish immigrants and their wives and children.
