Your Excellency: I have the honour to refer to Mr. Johnson’s note No. 644 of the 7th January8 relating to the exchange of notes, dated the 25th October, 1938, between His Majesty’s Governments in the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth of Australia and New Zealand, and the French Government regarding aerial navigation in the Antarctic, and to the reservations formulated by the United States Government in connexion therewith, and to state that note has been taken of the contents of this communication which are being conveyed to His Majesty’s Governments in the Commonwealth of Australia and New Zealand.
