69. Department informed by Dr. Stephen Wise53 that during past 4 days physical violence unrestrained by adequate police measures has been directed against Jews and Jewish business in Warsaw.

For assistance in reply to Dr. Wise Department requests immediate brief telegraphic report on situation.54
