Excellency: Reference is made to your note of July 6th, requesting confirmation that the Government of the United States does in fact regard Great Britain as a reciprocal country under the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920.
I have the honor to inform you that the Department of the Interior is now prepared to recognize Great Britain as a reciprocal country under the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920. A copy of the letter from the Acting Secretary of the Interior in this connection is enclosed.11
