The President ratified the London Naval Treaty, 1936, on May 28. So far no other Government has ratified although the Treaty was drafted to come into effect on January 1, 1937. Any information which may come to you with regard to the intentions of the Government to which you are accredited in respect of ratification of the Treaty should be promptly reported.
