264. My 260, March 28, 1 p.m. I saw Foreign Minister Laval this morning who informed me that the double taxation treaty passed the Senate last night. This means that only the formalities of Presidential signature and exchange of ratifications remain to be completed. Presumably the instrument of ratification will be submitted to the President of the French Republic for his signature at one of the Cabinet meetings next week.
