633. Reference Embassy’s telegram No. 602, July 17, 5 p.m., this year. Today’s Journal Officiel contains a decree dated July 25 putting into effect project for detaxation of cinemas and other amusements. It is gratifying to note that the decree omits the Lafont amendment or any other provision discriminatory against foreign films. Please repeat to Commerce.
