32. Department’s 27, June 30, 5 p.m. The Department is still without any information concerning Bolivian Government’s views as to how it can be helpful in straightening out the matter. Please endeavor to obtain discreetly Bolivian Government’s views as to a satisfactory settlement of the matter with a view to reestablishing diplomatic relations. A similar inquiry is being made at Asunción in order to see if there is anything the neutrals can do to be helpful in this matter.
