Sir: Referring to my telegram of July 20, 5 P.M.,38 I have the honor to enclose herewith copies of the notes exchanged on July 20, 1926,39 between Tewfik Rouchdi Bey, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and myself, providing for an extension of six months, dating from August 20, 1926, of the Commercial Modus Vivendi concluded between the Minister and myself on February 19 [18], last.
