Sir: I have the honour to invite reference to Mr. Lindsay’s note No. 224 of April 12th last8 and to inform you that the Canadian Government are pressing to know when the signature of the Fisheries Treaty can be arranged.

At the same time and with reference to Mr. Lindsay’s note No. 181 of March 23rd,8 I am asked to ascertain whether the United States Government are now prepared to consent to the publication of the report of the International Fisheries Commission.
