No. 250Sir: I have the honour to refer to Mr. Long’s note of March 24th communicating a proposed amendment to Article 2 of the Sockeye Salmon Treaty and to inform you that the Government of the Dominion of Canada are prepared to accept this amendment.
At the same time I am requested by the Canadian Government to urge that as early a date as possible may now be definitely fixed for the signature of the Treaty as amended.
