Information from the papers accurate, but we do not like to rely on it in discussing questions with diplomats. When the President returns the record will be useful, even if we do not need [Page 492] the information now. Either arrange for better information or ask a newspaper man who regularly attends the sessions to be good enough to report, as sometimes newspaper reports disagree and we would like to be in a position to reconcile statements, merely as a matter of courtesy if nothing else.
