Bonar Law stated in Parliament yesterday that it is not legal for any persons resident in British dominions to engage in conference with enemy subjects without the license of the Crown duly given and that the Government has decided that permission to attend the Stockholm conference will not be granted. The King has approved the appointment of Barnes to succeed Henderson as Cabinet Minister.
