Sir: I have the honor to enclose for your information and consideration a copy of a personal note from the British Ambassador at this capital,1 in which, with reference to previous correspondence concerning the alleged shipment of contraband articles by parcel post from this country, he communicates to the Department information received by his Embassy to the effect that the Traun Rubber Company, of New York City and College Point, who are reported to have been shipping considerable quantities of printing-type compound, chiefly to Stockholm, are now forwarding by parcel post to the same destination large quantities of dental rubber and rubber sheets.
