3651. Department advised that British steamer Trevarrick [Trevarrack], with American citizens on board, was sunk by German [Page 322] submarine 90 miles off Ouessant [Ushant] Point, November 16, and that ship was carrying cargo of grain from Buenos Aires to Hull.
