1230. For Red Cross:
21. Have made satisfactory arrangement with military representatives Serbia for relief Belgrade. Arrangements relief interior Serbia not completed but progressing favorably. Distribution by American Red Cross assisted by citizens’ committee begun April 14. Expect supply 15,000 practically destitute people. Serious condition orphan and aged asylums will be relieved. Have requested immediate shipments donated supplies from Roumania. Shipments from America desirable, especially women’s, children’s shoes, clothing, all kinds food.
