Sir: I have the honor to transmit herewith, together with the office copy thereof, a letter¹ addressed to the President of the United States of America, which I have this day received from the Minister of State, President of the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, whereby her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess, Regent of the Grand Duchy, notifies the President of the United States of the decease of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke William, and of the continuance of the Regency until the attainment of majority of Her Royal Highness the Grand Duchess Marie Adelaide.
