Written statement has been made by Lange that he will not resign until after receivership has been actually established, and he has held post of Receiver and Vice Consul together for some time. This caused Liberian Government to instruct Dinklage, Liberian Chargé d’Affaires at Berlin, by mail July 17, to urge again German Foreign Office to withdraw Lange’s appointment as Vice Consul. Should this fail he is to intimate to German Foreign Office that Liberian Government will be compelled to revoke Lange’s exequatur whenever receivership becomes actually operative.
